The Weser was a planned German auxiliary aircraft carrier, converted from the almost complete Admiral Hipper-class heavy cruiser, Seydlitz, a project started in 1942 after Germany recognized the value of air support at sea. Work on this unique World War II warship was suspended in 1943, leaving the carrier unfinished, and she was later scuttled in Knigsberg in 1945. This highly detailed plastic model kit measures over 62 cm long, consisting of over 560 parts, and features an extensive array of detail parts, including 11 sheets of Photo-Etched (PE) parts and a metal anchor chain.
